...and that i hope is a mistake. seems as if chevy has moved the emblems that sit on the side and back from a good spot to a very odd spot...check it....
new spot (the SS supercharged...on both the side and the back)

from the way it has been the whole time...

i dont like it at all...what do you guys think? me thinks im just gonna either move it back when i get it or just take them off all together because of the hassle...lol...

i noticed the odd symbol placement too
guys,
why did GM move a perfectly good position on the SS badging? the new placement looks so stupid! please call GM marketing to suggest that they remove the symbols to their original pre-production location (toward the bottom of the door panel). GM Marketing- 800-222-1020.

Wow, didnt even notice. I hate it on the driver sides
Most GM cars have it on the pasanger side (Camaro SS, Trans Am WS6, Grand Am GT)
Dont know why they decided to change it. So yea please call the # Ryan posted or just post here and we will get this thread over to them.

I agree, the third pic of that series has by far the best badge placement IMHO.
And why in the world would they move the SS badges higher on the doors? I think it looked great where it was.

i just got done talkin to banshee and he said they havent had anymore ss' come off the line. theyve only done 12 (sale worthy) coupes per week. dont know the total on that. but this is a good sign that the coupes are now coming for sale (so keep an eye out!). he said the ss/sc's would be in coming out in sale form in january. he said he would take pics first thing when he sees a SS out in the lot. their christmas break isnt really that long, and he even said that there is a rumor goin around that they will be working some of it anyways. so, i just hope they make them soon cause reguardless of the emblems, i just wanna sit in and drive one...im gonna be taking them off anyways, but yeah...call that number...complain....email them...complain...get this changed, this is horrible...they ruined something that was perfect. i bet you they moved it because when driving it, the emblem on the sides of the car would get dirty alot or knicked by rocks and such...im guessing at least...
Jeez, that was a good eye. I didn't notice at all.
I emailed Chevy to ask about the placement of the emblems and how they differ from the older photos, and got a response that they would try to find out the answer (I was surprised to even see a return email!). I'll post any update I get as well.
