We bought this car with the hopes of making a drag car.......Things change...... This car has less then 1300 miles and has a light hit that is high up that barely hit the frame horns at all.......should be a easy fix.........will need radiator, fenders, hood, front end,ect.....Mint grey interior with mint exterior from hood back......bags are deployed...........Dark blue in color......would like $4700 complete..........Jesse

Yes Dman...........this car is a very nice and easy fixer.............It was placed with a salvage title because the air bags were deployed my insurance guy said, not because of the hit.........I have a line on 2 air bags that I will include with the car..........Tiny you can keep your opinions coming, its cool by me................I have some pics if anyone could help me post them I can send them to you..........Jesse

PS....Tiny, tell your wife I said hi and I miss her....... :-D

It would probably make a good track. 1/4 or SCCA.

haah, i guess some states are different
in nc, you just get a title that says salvage instead of clear. no different than a regular one

and yeah, it would make a very nice drag car....do i smell a v8 rwd project??

yeah, i was sitting at a stop sign and the truck in front of me decides to reverse , and does it into me, his hitch was the only thing that hit me. put a nice hole in the front bumper and absorber, and dented the frame, chev replaced my bumper but i guess the frame didnt matter to them. lol

There is a way to clear the title...but I don't think it's exactly legal.

I'm very interested if I could get some pics and know if it's a 5 speed or not.

air bag deployment = totalled.

WRONG.

anyways, most states have a law that says if it takes a certain percentage of the vehicles ACV (actual cash value of idemnity), then will the vehicle be totalled. it doesnt take a certain part being damaged or an air bag deploying to total a car. i just feel bad for people that live in tenessee. i just got word that alot of the flooded cars from rita and the other hurricane are heading up there to be sold after being somewhat fixed since they dont have a salvaged title law.

hahaha ive bent my frame already its all good. The frame on the cobalt is made in pieces just have to replace. My car runs much better since i got it fixed (9000$) and im running like 14psi stock. Gotta love old ladies that can't drive.
