We should get together a Cobalt meet in Arizona. I know there are two SS owners in Mesa, one in Phoenix, and one in Gilbert (myself). Non SS's are also welcome. I figure we could meet up at the Sonic on Cooper and Warner and just drive around from there. That would be ill ;). Ok, Im just a bit confused by that. What do you all mean by pav's? It's probably just going over my head, but still.

My master plan was to meet sometime on Friday, Saturday night. I was originally saying the Sonic on Cooper and Warner-- That way we can be armed with limeade's and fresh fruit slushes :cool: , but I'm really down to meet anywhere. It would be nice if there was a central meeting place.

Jeez man, that would be like my grandpa driving my SS around. Now that just makes me laugh. What made an older guy like yourself want a Cobalt SS over something like a Mercedes? Don't get me wrong though, I think it's awesome that this car can attract older buyers as well.

As far as Wickenburg goes, that's a bit out of the way for the whole gang to be traveling. Why don't you just meet us In Scottsdale Saturday evening? Like it's been mentioned before, the Pav's are a good central point for everybody...although you are a bit further than most. At least you don't live in Sun City though right ;)

Hooters sounds good to me, we just need to figure out which one to go to. I know there is one on the 60 and Power Road. If anything, owners that are close to the gilbert/mesa area could meet at Sonic about 30 minutes before the hooters meet and then drive up towards scottsdale/phoenix. I think it's important to get an idea where everybody is at. That way we can make it convenient for everybody. I'm going to start this list off:

Hey Bulldog...... I own a 2004 Vette Coupe, Torch Red and had a 1999 Vette Covertable but (believe it or not?) ......I traded the 99 Vette in for this new Cobalt SS Supercharged and am real happy I did too....( got the Cobalt and a few grand back too) ....ha ha ha

When I sold my last Harley I knew I'd have to learn to enjoy cars again....well I make it my business to do that now...I would really enjoy meeting you as well as other some other Cobalt owners for laughs and war stories...keep in touch..

Well it is getting to be that time of the yea again. its warming back up and its time to go play, plus i have weekends off again. YAHOOO. Any one willing to cordinate some dates and times?? If no one is but people are willing to go and help out i would be willing to set stuff up but i would need input as i have only been down here in AZ for 2 years and dont know all the hot spots yet. I would like to get something together at least once a month and posibly make something of it for thats that want to. Also since most of us are into tuning out cars we would have a better chance of getting some sponsorships from some of the local dealers if we were more together. It been a few years since i have done the club thing but it is some thing that i would like to do again as there are some good benifits that come from it.

My friend and I used to ALWAYS be out there on 35th ave & unions hills and 43rd & bell, When I had my camaro... We used alot of gas racing/crusing. Untill they got heavily patroled by police, and then Ramiros ( sp? is it.) had a 24hr Rent-a-cop so nobody could hang out there. But that was a while ago.


Anyways, as for the meet at the pavs, ill try to get out there. About what time?

lately its been sonic seems like nobody goes to rameros any more was out this past saturday and it was really busy, they have rent a cops but they dont kick you out they are just there to make sure nothing goes down. i might be going out there this saturday but not a 100% sure and would like to go to the pav's but by the time i get off work and get there everybody would be leaving.

Dont know why they all go to sonic now i guess its just the new place. last saturday was a great night to hang out there because the cops didnt come to kick every one out of walgreens and i am suprised because the whole parkinglot was full and there was even cars parked at the gas station next to it. well then i guess i will go out saturday night not 100% sure i will have the cobalt though because it might be going in the shop to get my fender replaced

cops are doin speed traps ... it wasn't an article in the paper or a shout out on tv they actually had a reporter in the same parking lot as the cops before they rolled out at 10 ... just an heads up is all ... personally the 35th ave meets are a bit too far and not enough fun

yea they are too far for you guys and they arnt always the coolest place to be but its only like 10-15 min. away from me so thats the only reason i go, plus when you guys went there when we all meet up that was prob the slowest that place has ever been so that was a bad night to go for that reason

if you want your more than welcome to come over and see if they fit and also see what they look like on the vehicle. they are 4x114.3/ he also has another set if ya wanna check them out!

if they're drilled for more than one bolt pattern I'm willing to bet it fits 4x100 and 4x114.3...yes you can tell by trying them on.

I would go, but Im no match for SRT4s.. hah.. its not that hard to get to 35th. But since your new around here.. Take Litchfield rd North to Bell rd. Go West on Bell down to 35th ave. Take a Left on 35th, the next street should be Union Hills.. Sonic is right there, next to a walgreens I believe.

No, Ven's car is black. I think I'm the only Arrival Blue SS S/C on the website in AZ. There are 2 others that I have seen driving around, but haven't seen them on here. Keep an eye open in the "South Mountain" Regional threads. That is where we normally post our organized meets.
