Car is running very stange, anybody have any ideas?

I only use Mobile 1 93 octane, have gotten serviced at or before 5000 miles since the purchase of my car last year(brand new) And now it runs strange. It seems like my car is slower than when I first got it. Or maybe it's me being used to the acceleration. But if I am at a stop in hit it from first gear(without revving to higher rpms first) it hardly makes the tires spin if at all. And I get a tiny little chirp from 2nd gear. It did not do that when I bought it. I feel like I have a loss of power. And it sometimes even hesitates in first gear, not wanting to go when I hit the gas. Very odd. Thanks ahead of time for the help too.

Have you tried unplugging the battery... reset the ECU. Sometimes it just needs a "reboot"

Also... have you checked your tire pressure, make sure all your vac. lines are in good shape and not cracked.

If nothing else... see if the dealer has a reflash for you.

Tire pressures are good. I check that often. But when going from 1st and second or even a roll it just feels very weak. I'll give the whole unplug the battery thing a go and see if that helps. And I haven't noticed any cracks on the lines unless it's somewhere up underneath the car. I'll look into that as well. Thanks.

If you have 10,000 + miles, it might be time for a new air filter.

It is typical to get it changed every 10 to 15,000

Dealer SHOULD be replacing that every 10k like I pay for. If they haven't been it could be a problem. Also wanna get new spark plugs and a fuel filter just in case.

All that oil in your gas tank or gas in your oil is probably causing all the trouble.

or could it possibly be the outside temp causing the power loss?

Well today I had a buddy of mine change out the fuel filter, install my intake and tune it and now it runs good again. Also switched fuel sources to see how that works. So as of right now this problem has ceased. (knocks on wood).
