Hurst, ARK Antenna, Bwoody Mounts, New 18's.

Just thought I'd throw up a few pics of my most recent additions. Had some folks requesting shots... here they are.

I'll appologise now as the car hasn't been washed since last week... so she's a bit dirty. I gotta get her cleaned up and do a proper shoot this weekend.

07 Model polished 18's... thanks to Dman.

New ARK short antenna... my previous shorty was still too long with the wingless look. This one's perfect.

Hurst shifter... install was a piece of cake. Action is nice and firm so far, just gotta get used to finding 5th in a different spot. Reverse lockout works perfectly.

Powerplant... MRZ sparkplug & fuel rail covers. Airhorn. Mounts.

BWoody Engine mount closeup.

BWoody Trans. mount closeup.

Hope y'all enjoyed... comments are appreciated.

I know I need to lower it... I'm workin on that now. Stock shifter broke so I ordered the Hurst first.

I dig it! Hows the shifter? My shift knob fell apart, and was looking into buying the hurst.

I want to go wingless as well!

+1 for victory red

The Hurst is great so far... works like it should... and won't fall apart LOL. I'll give it a week before forming any solid opinions on it... should be fine though. The thing that majorly stands out is the fact that 5th is in a different spot.

What's up with the fogs? wiring isn't my super specialty... but I'm decent with a set of tools.

Very nice pics! You say that is dirty?!? If that is dirty I want to see it when you think it is clean. Only one thing I would have to recommend on it, you should have got the angle cut tip. I just think it looks better but that is just my personal opinion, who cares what I think lol. That is one sharp lookin car. How do the mounts feel. Vibes bad? Shifts must be 100% better I am sure.

Thanks! Yeah... she's dirty... if the pics were any bigger you could see it. I'm OCD when it comes to this car being perfect in every detail. Most of that shine is coming from the Meguiars 3-step I did on it last month. She gets washed atleast once a week... followed up with Eagle 1 wax-as-you-dry to maintain the finish. Every night (weather permitting) she gets dusted off with the california duster and covered up.

Vibes with the mounts are... present. She'll definately let you know if you are accelerating in the wrong gear. After a few weeks I've gotten used to the vibes and it dosen't really bother me anymore. However the performance is worth it. I can floorboard it any time I want to... she burns rubber and goes. The 1-2 shift at 6-7k RPMs will burn the tires again for a good second. There is no more jerking when making WOT shifts... she just ***** and gets.

I'm glad y'all approve of the way she looks. I'm going for something clean and simple... not overly tricked out and flashy. I like to let the engine to the talking. I just gotta get her lowered, slap on a Cobra HE and a 2.9 pulley, powder coated valve cover, and a few other little things. She's getting close to done.

I honestly have no idea how the reception is with the antenna. I don't ever listen to the AM/FM bands. It's always on XM or CD. I wouldn't be the right person to ask about the reception anyways... all the radio stations broadcast from here in town, so I can pick up radio with no antenna at all.

You get the cobra h/e on and the 2.9 and you should pretty much have all the mods I have. Good luck with the car and keep it clean!

Any shop should be able to wire them... it can't be that hard... the wires are probably already in there somewhere. I'd offer my services but the GF says I've done enough work on cars for the present time... gotta spend some "quality time" with her over the weekend or I'm gonna be in trouble.

It's a Pep-boys generic horn... kinda high-pitched but it'll definately get peoples attention. They do not expect my little car to make that sound.

take the ground wires and ground them somwhere, then connect the power wires, run them to a switch, then run a power wire from an electrical source, such as the fuse box, and run that to the switch, make sure to put an inline fuse in the power wire to the fog lights while your at it

I know why yours has play in it. We didn't get the set screw tight enough... I had to go dig up a wrench that was actually a hair too big for the screw to get it in there properly without stripping it. It just needs to be snugged down more and it should take care of the problem.

Unfortunately you're gonna have to pull the whole thing back out to get to the set screw on the ball.
