How many people has this happened to?
sorta kinda off topic but i had an 07 cobalt sedan rental in florida and i noticed that it had a rubber thing in its cupholder so i took it thinking it would solve the flying drink problem and it wont fit in the copholder of my car (an 06). What is up with that?
Yep, happened like my third day with the car. Gotta take my big coffee to work in the morning + this car just corners so sweet = scrubbing the carpet again!
Until I glued some rubber from a bicycle tube around the side of the C/H. Doesn't help much with regular cups but if you have a travel mug with fairly straight sides it works pretty good. Just keep the lid closed or coffee will still spray out the hole!

my only car accident was caused by my large ice coffee going onto the passenger seat floor and me going after it as i was turning. when i stopped i was in the engine bay of an old lady's ford taurus (this was back in '01), so pretty much every time i turn, i hold whatever drink i have.... though i did manage to have another coffee topple over below my legs one night, but i also took a hard right hand turn. top stayed on, thankfully.
i got a lil too excited goin around a turn a few weeks ago with a iced coffee in the cup holder and the girl in the passenger seat wasnt too happy but at least i had the rubber floor mats from chevy....cleaned up real nice n easy so i wasnt really upset at all
lol awsome man. it should chill it also have like some tubes running around it and run the n20 throught it and you will have ice cold drinks all the time.
