So i finally got around to putting the new pulley on. I have had just the stage 1 kit for a while now. Holy crap I was impressed. Got on the freeway this morning and dropped it in 2nd and punched it, its crazy how much faster it boosts now with the new pulley. Feels like its pulling harder now and the whine is even louder. I love it! Just had to share haha

42# and a 2.9" should be fine with the occasional 7k sprint. On the TM side, I had a scanner on mine the other day to measure my iat2s because I added a cobra h/e and it said I had 13% torque reduced.

I would have to disagree with Mike on the 2.5

That will end up in a blown engine

I have said that since the concept of the stg kits. GM did this car all wrong and then milked the consumer for more money.

2.7" and smaller pulley's should have 60's with proper cooling mods done first.

IMO exhaust should be done first before even thinking about a pulley.

Frank 2.5 works fine. It's all in the tune. I went to 2.7 cause I don't need that crazy of a car.

I would say 2.9 +exhaust

2.8 + exhaust and 60# + tune

2.7 and under - new manifold + exhaust + 60# + tune + H/E

All right a newb question. What is TM and why do you want it off? I keep seeing it mentioned and have searched to be unsuccessful.

Waylin told me someone blew their car to **** with the 2.5 and a good tune. I guess my faith in this car isn't all that high.

2.8 on stock injectors and a stock tune is not a very good idea. I suggest you research a bit more before you go along with that plan.

Torque Management. You want it off because it reduces the torque a bit.

^^ No, TM reduces torque. If you remove TM it gives you all your torque with out the PCM taking it away. Boost is not changed.
