For Intense, yes you need to machine the snout for a 2.6". Any 2.5" will also need machined

Well, for only $10/pc get both. Hell, you could get a 2.9/2.8/2.7/2.5 and still only really end up paying for the full price of ONE pulley and you'd have enough pullies to do what ever the hell you want. :)

Intense 2.7 will fit fine w/o rubbing. Some people need to machine a little for the ZZP 2.6 too, but I've only heard a handful of cases. I've never experienced a 2.6 ZPP needing machined.

My old roommate is running an Intense 2.7 on his RL and loves it. No issues at all.
