black or CF bowtie

Where can you get a different looking bowtie.. the one I have on my car currently is the gold looking one, and it looks like crap imo

I want a black or CF looking one, can you buy them or do you just paint them yourself..
Any help would be awesome!

Front bowtie is easy to take off. What color is your car, and do you have other CF parts on it? If you've got other CF accents, go with a CF bowtie. If not, just go with black.

Yea all u need is a 10mm socket and u should be able to twist it off with ur hand with out the wrench. 2 screws behind the grill. Or mine was just loose to begin with.

Yeah its like right infront of the hood latch arm. I just painted mine last week... look up one of the how to's if you need help. But once you get the bowtie off you can heat it up just slightly with a hair dryer and the gold part actually comes off the chrome so you don't have to work about painting the chrome

paint it any color. the gold bowtie doesnt look good on any color chevy offers especially since all stock rims are silver or chrome.

The black badge also looks sick on the victory red. add in a stock grill painted black to match instead of that wierd dark gray color, and it looks real good..

i taped off the chrome outer edge, then used a 3M scotch pad to roughen up the surface, without putting deep scratches in it.. then used black PPG paint that we have in the cabinet in the garage. I'm thinking of re-doing it using the nighthawk black pearl. It's a basic black with red and gold and blue sparkle in it..
