So whats up guys i really want a shortie antenna and ive had one before but i didnt like it i love the ark but i dont love the price of it if you guys can give me a website to find a awesome shortie antenna that would be greatly appreciated and i dont want something that 50 bucks lol

its one of those black rubber/[lastic ones. i dunno what its made of

when was your 06 made? you may have the 7mm stud and in that case... you are pretty much out of luck when it comes to shorty's all they have are ones you need to make an adapter for. Do what I and a bunch of others have done. chop your antenna to the height you want it, and chop the ball and attach it back on top. you can have a shorty that cost you nothing but a half hours work and its made from the stocker.

Go ahead and spend some money on one... quality counts. Mine's an ARK short antenna... I got it from e-bay... but ARK sells them online as well.

agreed. Just cut your stocker, take some black silicone and put it on the tip where you cut it, and put a little rubber cap where the silicone is and bam! shorty antenna. I got my rubber cap from NAPA but any auto store will sell them.

I cut mine and I personally think it looks better than that shorty. I like the twists in the stocker. I cut mine to about 13" though not that damn short. Do what you want, I thought a free better looking shorty was worth it. If you like the shorty go for it and get it, either is better than the stock length.

agreed, i cut mine to a nice length, right around 13-14" and it is even with my roof now. plus I still have good enough reception to pick up the stations I want. I tried a shorty and it sucked balls reception wise... but I am 50 miles out of boston and looking for boston stations

I think the Ark is like 6 inches... it's really short... fits in my back pocket. I had another one that was level with the SS wing... but it still looked huge with my wingless trunk... so I had to go shorter.

antennaX will sell them for the 07, you just have to tell them you have an 07 when your odering.

I got mine from Ebay and it's worked fine for well over a year and a half. So I think you should be good.

dont cut the stocker..if u do that...and u listen to the radio..have fun gettin reception..lol

i get reception. its ehh in RI, but when I am home on Long Island I get every station static free

I don't ever listen to the radio anymore... too many commericals... and why bother when you've got XM and MP3 capability.

I also just cut mine...but I also ground of the swirlies, then repainted it black. I think it looks pretty sweet, and cost me $0.

Stay away from those rubber ones that you can get an AutoZone, Checker, etc...they will start to flop like a limp weiner after a few weeks.

so after looking and deciding i decided that i dont like antennas to be so short and reception is a factor even though i have xm i decided on antennax black billet 14 inches tall if its to big for my liking ill cut this one down!
