On the way home today at about 2:50pm I was heading south on 270 towards 70 and passed a sport red 2.4 and another red 2.0 which was heading north on 270. Look stock on the outside. I was in the red 2.0 with rksport wing, black headlights, and red lipped black rims.

Just seeing if it was anyone on the forums

Hm, if it helps, a saw a few silver cavi's while on 270 One did have tint and the sport appearance like your sig

My SS/SC is red like yours and I was on 270 everyday over the weekend driving back in fourth to my buddies and what not lol, so I dunno, I see a lot of cobalts driving around here, not very many sc's though.

And I love how your wheels turned out with the black and red I really like lol those look bad

you work at serpentini? haha, thats where i bought my cobalt up in aurora. my mom lives in streetsboro, and i was up there looking at a bmw 318ti when my car crapped out, so i got the cobalt.

but you columbus guys might see me around 270 alot. im on the north end of 270 heading towards 161 going east to newark but head into dresden. im actually heading out 270 either late thursday or friday morning.

its interesting that you have a sc2 turbo..i hade a 97 sc2, turbo all my parts were from saturn motorsports...got tire of the mass oil consumption of the motor as well as turo..

 

no ****. were you on any saturn forums? but my old sc2 isnt turbo yet, its a huge project. its been boosted by like every guy before me. so i decided i want to go different, and it will be rwd . it will be a hell of a project, but ah why not upstage whats been done to it in its life? i just about bought the trans for the rwd conversion when i was in florida, but i lost the guys number. and i also about bought the differential for it, but i had no money. i will probably get the trans and motor as one though, but thats only when i have $2500 laying around

right now its on hold (in its typical position up on jack stands, lol), as im building my new daily driver (95 ford escort). engine will be back from machine shop tomorrow, .040" over, decked block, and it will receive a 86 1.9l carb head to up compression more and have larger valves. head will also be ported, and intake manifold matched. 1.9L HO header (i think its long tube), full 2 1/4" exhaust, custom intake, 97 throttle body (44mm over 40mm) and custom fuel controller that is in the works.....

theres more, but its still a ford . i just need another car, especially for winter.

wow. 3 years ago though, im sure the guys up in that area would have seen you. i was up in that area like 2 years ago, but 3 years ago i was making trips up there. you ever hit thompson? i know thats a long ways away from strongsville, but some of the saturn guys hit that track. its a slow track.

one of my friends has a 97 sc2 thats on its third turbo set up, and this time its on crack. 3rd gen roller rocker head, mild street cams, ported head, overbored, higher compression, forged bottom end, i think its a t3/t61 turbo on a dsm manifold. it sounds ridiculous! it sounds like a drag car with v8 all cammed out, then rev it up and . i think he wants to see what it will do on low boost. i think he just wanted to hit 250whp, but im sure when it hits that more will ensue. its a nice set up now.

Hah thats funny you mention that I work at Worthington Cylinders right there off Worthington Gelina how ever you spell it lol and right next to 270, the big Blue Building off to the side of the freeway, next to Budweiser, and I drive to 161 to 71 about the same time, I work 3rd shift so you might see my red SS/SC around there 1 morning, mines easy to spot I put my Injen stickers on the back windows, so encase we do drive by's again lol and see someone we can tell who it was.
