their ICW's 17 inch with BF drag radials. they work awesome. only used them once at the track but they knock off nearly a second off my 1/4 mile.

I have the same exact setup. I have not used them yet at the track but that time is approaching soon. It knocked a entire second off the 1/4th mile!?!? What did you run without them, what did you run with them. Damn, that should put me in the mid high 12s with just DRs!

And then you will have 3 very large holes in your front bumber. I got my front bumber repainted and the holes fixed after it got hit by drunk.

Its very true. Some people broke axles with a stock balt. That was cuz of wheelhop though not power.

So, weakness of the balts list:

axles, traction, clutch, wheel hop

This is why I have stage II axles on the way in the mail.
This is why I have exedy clutch and flywheel on the way.
This is why I have drag radials.
This is why I have TTR complete set of motor mounts and tranny mounts.

A cobalt that gets rid of all the weak links and has a breathing engine with stage II and traction will hit low 13s, and high 12s.

Yes...our axles are not that great. My passenger side axle is already out of the boot. Makes clunking noises all the time now...oops lol (and I never used dr's or slicks...EVER, nor do I burn out or spin or wheel hop anymore)

welll they only make 2 sizes that would fit a 17" rim

that would be 205/40/17 or 225/45/17

im gonna assume its the 225/45/17

what RPM did you launch at??

Nioce jump in times man. I may have to keep DR's in mind. I want to hit the track before winter at least once, then prolly not again till next spring. By then I may have another beast to take to the track though.
