My girl and I went up to Mt Rainier today just to get away for a few hours. Here are a couple pics for ya. They aren't the best as the lighting was really screwy from where we were. Enjoy!

Ya I want to get out there next spring when there is still some snow on the mountain in the morning, when the lighting is better. We were out there in the afternoon and it was kinda sunny kinda overcast, so they didn't come out too well but not too bad either.

 

is that a beagle or a terrier

 

He is a rat terrier. He has the energy of about 5 jack russell terriers, just to give you an idea. haha

 

Those are nice! Paradise is a cool spot. Have you ever checked out Sunrise? I still want to get there at dusk or dawn for some pics! The "golden hour" would look really cool, but the weather doesn't always cooperate in this part of the country.

 

Oh ya I have been just about everywhere in the park. I used to do a lot of hiking and backpacking with my dad when i was a teenager. I'm too out of shape for that now though lol. Paradise is only about 70 or 80 minutes from the house, so thats why we went up there.

 

Carbon River Ranger Station is only 20 min from my house. I sometimes cruise past Orting on my way home from work in the morning to hit those vacant roads. It's very serene there. I was just sitting on a rock by the river last week and a doe with her two fawns walked right by me, within only about ten feet. That was really cool!

That dog looks awesome, makes me miss my Rat Terrier like no other. Damn ex, took her when she dissapeared Man I tell ya those dogs can jump, does she hunt moles in your yard or anything?

 

Hahah yeah he is a big jumper. We dont have any moles but he has brought us a few mice to the door. He is a fast little guy, he can outrun just about anything at the dog park. Plus he is so small that if he can't outrun then he can just dart around left and right and juke them lol.

 

Real nice pics man. I saved a couple of those for future wallpaper purposes. lol

 

yah mine was so kind hearted I never could get her to hunt moles in the yard. I know if she ever caught one she'd just try to play with it She used to chase rabbits and squirells but would give up to quick. She came across a baby bunny once but just licked it cuz she was so nice. She was also raised with a German Sheperd and they used to play and he was a little faster than her just because of the leg-span but your right, she could dart so fast that he couldnt keep up. Sorry to jack the thread with dogs, just reminded me of mine and I miss her and want another one. nice pics and car by the way man
