First of all, I want to say Cobaltss.net rocks! Such a great forum! I have learned so much from the site and had quite the laughs reading. Haven't seen a forum like this since the Gp Gtp forums. I have been in/out of the forums for a couple months but finally registered and have been on these boards constantly for a week or so. For those of you who know him, BgBearcatFan is a very good friend of mine, me being the reason he got his SS/SC. He is now staying up late just to flame me, urging me to hurry and post and say everything is a lie. I drive a 99' Civic Si, lightly modded. Before I drove a 89 Buick Century FTW!, just to get me through HS. Grad present was a down payment for a new car, (I make monthly payments), but it had to be an import. Bro had a 04 GTO lemon and parents said new car has to be somethin that will last me though college. Be goin to Cincy State. I was lookin at a few cobis and grand prixs before they said import. I'm a muscle guy at heart, Super Bee, Charger, GTO, Road Runner, etc... Big V-8's and Hemis make me pitch tents. Bro also had a 99 GTP, However my civic is just fun to drive. A blast, I love it and that's what's driving is about. Plus the compliments I get every now and then. I will be posting on these boards everyday. /Flame suit on









P.s. Don't worry, the rice headlights are coming off! Came with the car. Getting some stock smoke ones w/ my already bought Silverstars.

pics dont look bad....car definitly has some pontential. Personally I would have put some 16' Rota C8's in bronze on it and slam it on some skunk2 coilovers. Not a big fan of big wheels on civics. Those headlights actually arent the worst I have seen. I say go with some JDM CTR headlights. Oh and Black FTW

looks like it needs springs in the back, and you should take off the vtech graphic.. but i like it... Headlights might look OH, if they were color matched

 

Fake projectors. Lian Li Headlamps. Previous owner has a harness on both splitting the low/high beams to the different bulbs. It's a mess and the grounds on them aren't solid. Wash her atleast once a week.

Getting a camber kit while I'm at it.

 

Them Civics look pretty sharp all lowered and kept clean, and most def alot of potential

Civics arent bad as long as they are done right....he seems to be on the right path for a succesful civic.

I agree i'm not a civic hater myself, it's quite a sharp car. But i imagine some newb will come in at one point and ruin the compliment streak haha.
