me vs charger r/t

has anyone ran their cobalt with a charger r/t hemi...if so what were the results...i was on the way home and this charger comes up behind and rides my ass...its a 55 mph zone i was runnin 60 so i gave him a quick 3rd gear pull to about 85 then i slowed down cuz cops are heavy out here...he passes me and i get behind him and i pass him cuz he was ridin his brakes of course...he was a way back and started comin up quick so i punched 3rd...took third all the way to 115 and 4th to 125 and i slowed down cuz i had to turn on my road...he never got within 2 car lengths at 125 so he had to have had that thing down a good bit...but i was already 5 lenghts in front of him when i punched 3rd...i have stage 2 and thats it...people might call bs but its true...kinda suprised me cuz i figured that hemi was gonna straight demolish me...but 340 hp and 390 tq at roughly 4000lbs it might be possible idk...what do yall think call bs if you want but this is true...if anyone else has raced one what were your results...PEACE!!!

so he was tryin ....that thing isnt that impressive then...so my story is believable...that makes me love my balt even more...it was pretty ****** nice though

I laughed one night when a charger r/t pulled up and started edging forward like he wanted to go. He finally gave me a couple looks like "I'm gonna toast you". I'm checking out his car and noticing that this man has 22" chrome spinners on his already heavy ass car. When the light turns green he accelerates pretty hard to send a message I guess.....So from about 2 cars back at 20-30 mph I punch it. I hear him punch it but bye the time he reacts I am next to him shifting into 2nd, I bark my tires and leave him. Middle of second it was over...and that was like 65-70 mph. so about 30 mph from about 2 cars behind, and I finished about 70 2 cars ahead. Pretty nasty. Mods are GM stage 2, K&N typhoon, ZZP header, Nates 2.9 pulley, Ingalls torque dampener, and b&m sts.......now just imagine if I had stickers!!!!!!!! lol

Not to be a dick, but you can't do 115 in third gear

But nice kill, I work at a Dodge dealership, and have driven a few R/T's and Datonas, they're fun, but heavy

It's the SRTs you hafta worry about

i had about 1.5 car length on a srt8 charger on the highway(he had some 20+ chromo's on it),so rt might be about 2 car wins if not more

I have beat a modded One with intake exhaust and a tune. We ran from 70-130mph had hime buy at least 4-5 cars, my mods are in signature

I think those cars are running low 14's. Maybe high 13's at best. pretty heavy car.

awesome i feel good bout the balt now...yea i dont think i would wanna mess with a srt8 charger though lol haha...i would try though...and just for the guy that said balts cant do 115 in third i swear its possible and i do it...someone told me i could and i tried it when i first got stage 2 and he was right...ill try and make a video and post it...anyone else take
3rd to 115

ya guy i work with has a one of the hemi rts i think and me and him went at it from like 15 on the back road to work and i had him no problem and i just got an intake hes an automatic though not sure if that has nething to do with it?

Well my friend has a Magnum R/T. Has full bolt ons like CAI, headers, exhaust. He runs 2 tenths quicker then me at the track. From a roll I pull on him decently but from a dig he gets a good headstart and I can't catch him till 100mph.

i was surprised when i raced an R/T. i was consistently 4 tenths faster at the quartermile. granted im decently modded, but i still thought it would be more of a fight. i need to get a few more mods so i can take on those pesky LS1 that keep edging me out

thats impossible. you cant be in first @ 20-30mph neither can you be in mid 2nd gear at 65-70 {that would be your redline in 2nd. Get your story straight before you post bs

All I know is that I've tracked my car many times with the Stg2 and different pullies and I can't break 108 even hitting the limiter. 106-107 is where I typically shift

i always pass the marker still in 3rd gear and shift at about 110-111mph just incase and trap usually in the 105s anyway.
