It doesn't have to be Hooters. The lot in front of Game Works is used by every retail operation in the Streets of Woodfield mall, including the movie theater. One word of caution however, we won't be the only vehicle club there. Its a popular lot for all the local rich kids to roll through in their daddy bought Lexus, and the japanese biker crowd is always there. I don't see either being a problem actually. In fact it should make for a lot of interested parties coming by and looking at our cars.

If anybody is interested we do still have a dyno day scheduled in Joliet on Saturday the 12th. Meet at the parking lot of the Motel 6, just north of the intersection of Larkin and I-80 at 8:30 a.m. We'll grab some breakfast, then hit the dyno at 9:00. So far we've got two IRL's, a 72 MG, some Ford Foci, a Taurus SHO, some kind of midget racer, a Saturn SL1, and an SRT4. This is a brand new building and street, so it doesn't show up on mapquest. If you are at the intersection of I-80 and Larkin, proceed South to Moen Ave. Turn right (West) and the first building you see on your left past the gas station on the corner is the dyno shop. The street is Hull Street and they are at the South end of the building. During the week would be better for me. Anytime M-F, the 14th through the 18th. If I had to pick a day right now I'd say Wednesday the 16th. Parking lot of Streets of Woodfield, maybe toward the far side of the lot across from the restaurant circle in the middle of the strip.

Yeah, yeah, quit yelling at me. It's easier to when you are there to see it. Streets of woodfield is basically a glorified strip mall. Right in the middle there is a circle driveway the surrounds a kind of food court full of small franchise restaurants like Chipotle and Cold Stone. Its the center of the strip, and the parking lot right along it. I'll try to get a mapquest pic up here for ya.

I still say Wednesday the 16, but I know that it will be dark to meet at like 7pm. Otherwise I say hold onto this spot and simply schedule it for the weekend after Thanksgiving. That way there no rush.

Yah maybe next time when its not Christmas time we'll get better parking spots. I'm kinda glad that we didnt take photos, cause my car was dirty as sin from all the salt I picked up on the way up. When I got back home I had to wash that crap off.

That tollway on 355 has to be the most screwed up system I have ever seen. Went through the first time and didnt pay...oops. When I came back through I talked to a toll guy about paying for the ones I missed. I'm sending out the $2.00 check (that is the smallest check I have ever written in my life) on Monday, to avoid any fines or tickets for not paying them.

I had fun, hopefully we can do it again in the spring.
