Possibilities of a cf front lip....

I know a guy on a different forum who I've been talking to for about a week now about making me a SS/SC cf replacement lip. He seems to be excited about the concept. Then when I mentioned that a lot of members here have been wanting cf lips themselves, his excitment grew.

His work is really good. He started out with the last gen neons. he's done fenders, pillars, full dash replacements, and a few other minor things for the neon.

I'm curious if anybody here would really like to be a part of this project?

Don't ask about pricing because we havn't descussed it yet. right now we're running through ideas.

He'll be able to do the lip(s) in various style of cf weaves. click or copy/paste the lhttp://alliedcomposites.com/george/website/fibers.html

We'll use this thread to better roll ideas around.

Thanks guys.

I don't think he does hoods yet. Mostl;y because hoods are complicated to contruct. Plus, to do properly would take a lot of cf. As far as wing inserts go, somebody would have to donate their's so that he can make a mold or copy. personally, I don't want to do without my spoiler again; the deck lid is all f'd up.

The design we're working on is a SS/SC lip replacement. Any SS/NA guy would also be able to utilize the lip as well. Seeing that the oem SS/Sc lip willl work.

yeah I asked about one a long time ago and nver got a response from any vendors just a lot of people that wanted one. I'd really prefer a ss/sc oem replacement as oppssed to a add on. it needs to be strong though not just for looks. my front lip has already gone through wuite a bit of abuse.

as for sideskirt and rear lip could that be a possibility?

CF ******* seat FTW

I would be up for this. PLUS if needs a car to do the work on I can let him use mine since he is located in CALGARY. No shipping charges for me!

Agreed...a replacement would be nice...not some universal crap that sits below the existing one

ok.... so here's the deal.... We're trying to figure out wheather or not to cut out the little splitters in the middle of the lip or make a solid peice.

What the price is going to be exactly will depend on wich route we go. I'll update when I have more info.
