06 SS/SC vs 06 Mustang GT
is he stock? if so then you should if you're a good driver
i hung with one when i was stock, and at the track with just my stage 2, him getting the better 60' i would pull on him by the top of 2nd/bottom 3rd. it was my friend.

I wouldnt say pull pretty bad.
from a dig he should win. but if its driven well the cobalt can make it close.
ive seen plenty of stock new GTs run times slower than mine all night.
lightly modded ones too for that matter.
anything can happen real world. magazine times are just numbers.

oh thats right forgot it was a fellow american v8, must mean instant death...
remind us why you are here again?
im at the track a **** ton, and have only ever seen one new mustang run 11.30's (1000) here. most are 11.50-11.60's and the traps are a good 3-4 mph slower than mine, constantly

hm i dont get it, ive never come across a stock one that could hang now, and every magazine test i can come across doesnt have them trapping over 102 stock (uh oh i quote mag numbers!!!) yet im sure one of those bitches will smoke my 106-107 trap stage 2 cobalt.
edit - MT trapped 104, youll def. lose now

I haven't lost to a mustang yet with either car I've owned and my cobalt is stock except for airbox mod (besides the cobra that made me cry). They're more powerful and much faster in a straight line but IMHO most of the owners can't drive which works just fine for me so maybe you'll get lucky. Honestly though the ones I've raced I'm pretty sure I would kill my car if i was the driver.

stage 2 , intake , header downpipe and exhaust and drag radials , im here to keep people like you in check cause this site would be
full of misinformation if it wasnt for people like me , so lets get this straight the best time you have seen a mustang run is around
an 11.30 and you run an 11.09 with DR's , stage 2 , intake , exhaust, header and downpipe , so tell me again how an intake and
exhaust cobalt on stock tires can run a 11.30 , it cant , case closed the mustang will pull you , its funny how i know a guy with an
06 GT and he ran a 13.7 bone stock the other day , id put 1,000$ there isnt a cobalt that can run a 13,7 with just intake exhaust
and stock tires , so can you explain how the cobalt is gonna win o yea hes not
my best friend has an 06 GT.. them cars launch pretty well and are pretty torquey with my GM stage 2 we were even from a dig and was starting to pull on him around at the top of 2nd gear but we ran outta road.. from a roll he wont even race him I make his car look stupid..
