i hung with one when i was stock, and at the track with just my stage 2, him getting the better 60' i would pull on him by the top of 2nd/bottom 3rd. it was my friend.

i would say you got a chance. i hung with stage 2 balts with just full exhaust and intake. so it should be a drivers race.

assuming you can both drive well, and he is stock....from a dig he should win.
from a roll it will be close.

I wouldnt say pull pretty bad.
from a dig he should win. but if its driven well the cobalt can make it close.
ive seen plenty of stock new GTs run times slower than mine all night.
lightly modded ones too for that matter.

anything can happen real world. magazine times are just numbers.

remind us why you are here again?

im at the track a **** ton, and have only ever seen one new mustang run 11.30's (1000) here. most are 11.50-11.60's and the traps are a good 3-4 mph slower than mine, constantly

if you have to ask, you don't need to race.

I haven't lost to a mustang yet with either car I've owned and my cobalt is stock except for airbox mod (besides the cobra that made me cry). They're more powerful and much faster in a straight line but IMHO most of the owners can't drive which works just fine for me so maybe you'll get lucky. Honestly though the ones I've raced I'm pretty sure I would kill my car if i was the driver.

You will lose, if you were a stage 2 with a 2.9 and intake and exhasut I would say it would be a great race, but a intake and a 3" exhaust, I have the Mustang buy at least 5+ lengths

No you wouldn't. Maybe if you had 15% tint you'd have a chance.

^^two drivers of equal skill yes. Like I said though the majority of stang owners i've come across don't seem to know their cars too well.

i love how you compare EVERY car to yours did you even read the mods the kid has in his signature , intake and exhaust , not

stage 2 , intake , header downpipe and exhaust and drag radials , im here to keep people like you in check cause this site would be

full of misinformation if it wasnt for people like me , so lets get this straight the best time you have seen a mustang run is around

an 11.30 and you run an 11.09 with DR's , stage 2 , intake , exhaust, header and downpipe , so tell me again how an intake and

exhaust cobalt on stock tires can run a 11.30 , it cant , case closed the mustang will pull you , its funny how i know a guy with an

06 GT and he ran a 13.7 bone stock the other day , id put 1,000$ there isnt a cobalt that can run a 13,7 with just intake exhaust

and stock tires , so can you explain how the cobalt is gonna win o yea hes not
