I know I am a new member and I am older than most everyone (SO LISTEN UP!!) :D :wink: , could I make a few suggestions?

I belong to 14 forums like this, cars, nascar, hunting, archery etc. I also owned my own hunting site and forum for three years. In all these forums a post like: "check it out", "A cool site" , "Visit us" etc. are really frowned upon. First thought of the admins and mods are, your using that sites membership to draw traffic.

This is where good signatures come into play, create one on another or other forums you visit, then just have normal posts. Believe me, if someone wants to visit they will but never will if felt forced or coerced into it.
