UPDATE! Winter tires and wheels part 2...installed!

My G6 wheels came today!!!!!! The Winter Sports should be in this week and hopefully I can get them mounted, balanced, and installed Wednesday.

Here's pics of the rims (and a random trivia tidbit):

All 4

One wheel

And now for the random trivia tidbit......the OE G6 wheels are made by Enkei, it says so right on the inside of the wheel:

I still can't believe I got these for $65/each!!!!! They're perfect, no curb rash or anything, no signs of damage. The car they came off of was fine, the owner just upgraded the wheels when they got new tires. I guess they don't know how many people are looking for 5x110 wheels!!!

Yes and yes. The G6 shares the 5x110 pattern.

The new tires and wheels installed...

I love em! I got the Dunlop Winter Sports and they're great. When all is said and done, I only paid about $675 for the tires, wheels, and installation. I actually like the looks of the wheels better than stock!!!!!!! And the tires feel great, in some respects they ride better than the Pirellis but dry traction is slightly worse, but there's not much of a difference. They feel great and look great on the car. The place that installed them even switched out my center caps for me!!!!!!

Ebay. The guy I bought them off of wanted to use them to make full-sized spares for the G6 so he bought the full set to match his wife's wheels then realized there wasn't room to make a full-sized spare. So he just wanted to get rid of them. He originally wanted $85 each, but since I bought the full set I only paid $65 each.

LOL, yeah, but their purpose is to keep me from going off roading in the snow . They actually perform really well, they ride better than the Pirellis I think and they're speed rated to 130 so I won't have to watch my speed like with Blizzaks.

i have a serious problem with the fact that the base cobalt has a 4 lug pattern while the ss has a 5 lug. HAS GM EVER HEARD OF CONTINUITY?!

They're Dunlop Winter Sport M3s, size is 205/60-R16. They are AWESOME. Only slightly less dry grip than the Pirellis but overall I almost like them better. They're supposed to be awesome in the snow too, but haven't had an opportunity to test that out yet.

Yes, those are incredibly similar. I actually had someone in a G6 with my wheels on look at them today. I think the Chevy emblem threw them off though, LOL.
