Elliott Smith kicks so much ass... the only cd i don't have of his is roman candle. i even went out and got the badly recorded new moon album when it came out like a month ago. And Elliott Smith-Elliott Smith is In my Car right now lol i was listening to it today. I also have XO in my car on the next disc over.

I'm also really into... Feist, Death Cab, Postal Service, I'm going to Augustana/Dashboard on oct 20th at the wonder ballroom... Dave Matthews Band and... well if you want a whole list then it would be a long time... i got hooked on Whitest Boy Alive... i think it was the OP who posted about them a while back lol Indie is awesome.

i love all kinds of music... listen to heavy metal mainly... but listen to everything, including rap, country, metal, blues, classical, tejano, indie... everything honestly. haha... favorite bands are hard to think of though... i really like cradle of filth... hank III... OH MY GOSH the forensics of the knife stabbing. i've so pondered over that for a long time. and the Suicide note makes no sense at all, but he could have just been smoking pot (which he did during his concerts lol) but still. unsolved mystery. i thought i was the only person on earth that knew about this....

ok i admit i think he's amazing. not my all time favorite though. i forget how awesome his story is. and he went to one of the high schools by me and got his start in portland.... yea where i live!! and he sings about the rose parade which is awesome. and 6th and powell and other random intersections in portland. all which i've been to. it would be werid to listen to the music while you're out on the sidewalk and walk in the same places and stuff. maybe i should do that sometime

country isn't my favorite but i do listen to keith urban and rascal flatts and some others occasionally

ya man, elliott's GF def killed him i mean, how does someone stab them self... TWICE. and he was actually clean from drugs at the time. IDK i guess i just miss the guy, there will prob never be anyone like him. but on a different note, Beck is the man, his older stuff is good as hell. i was just listing to tht song debra, thts a funny song lol.

Ghost tested is where they sound the most the same. but on the other some of the other ones he sounds totally different

oh and the stab wounds were angled downward as if someon (like his girlfriend) brought the knife down on him where as the majority of suicide stabbings are perpendicular to the body. straight in
