Had mine for a few weeks now but haven't installed yet. Waiting for my bud to get off the night shifts or get a free day on a weekend to give me a hand with it.

All the intake air goes through the intercooler so why waste money on a CAI when an airbox mod and cone filter makes the same power?

for the same reason people spend money on engine dress kits.

Injen CAI is a real good intake. I tried a few differant kinds and Injen was my favorite. No CEL, no problems and I had it over a year now.

I too have an Injen CAI. I'm looking for a hydroshield. Who makes them and are there different sizes?

I got my injen for 215(some guy on ebay ordered a supercharged one instead of the SS one, go me), put it on Tuesday and then raced a 98 Mustang GT. Smoked 'em.
No CEL either. Very happy.

Injen has hydro shields ordered mine the other day for the winter months. They are about 30 bucks.

We carry the Injen Hydro Shields in stock

Also the Injen intake is a great intake, anyone interested in a 2.0L SS/SC one, PM us, you will be glad you did.

I loved mine at first, it sounded great. I started after a while getting a high pitched noise when reving. I believe that was the start of a seal issue. Now I just noticed a small hole forming on the weld. I have to take the whole thing off now and figure out where it is leaking. They are nice at first, but now it seems kind of crappy. My A/F is all out of whack. I'm going to be so angry if I get the stock back on there and find the injen was the whole trouble. It is the later model too (the one with "no issues")

I personally would like to see a dyno test of just the airbox mod. Then one with the Injen, easy to say its the same but I have my doubts. My top end feels better w/ the Injen than the Airbox mod. But like I said, I would like to see the dyno diff.
