After seeing it in the sunlight for the 1st time ......this color is completely GROSS .

The flop color is a redish lavender <==== what on earth was GM thinking . My camera did not pick up how prominent the lavender pearl color was on the contours .

 

still dont like it, looks like a maaco paintjob

 

OMFG just when I thought GM couldn't possibly come up with a gayer color than laser blue. THEY DID.

 

i dont think its that bad, not great...but it could be worse

and sorry to allycat,some people like depth to their paint lazer blue >>>>>rest of the cobalt blues

yea its the tropical skittle color in my book. but the dark blue looks pretty good on the balt. when its clean.

 

Haha...I remember when i worked at the dealership and we got a colorado in the color. We all stood around it just staring at it and thinking. " Is this a joke"?????

 

i think slammed on a set of chrome 18-20's it would look pretty decent

 

I think in a SS/SC body with a drop and rims it would be tight... It will soon be the most desired color besides the white.

 

IMO the base/LS looks gross in any colour...

example, look at silver LS and a silver SS... totally different effect, damned if i know why

 

umm there is no ss/sc in 08 so that would be really hard to see...

 

My ls is black. i think its pretty. though i would say any LS SEDAN looks like crap period.
i absolutly hate the way sedan cobalts look. unless they are the ss decked out ones. then its not so bad.
i just hate the shape. ew

It's not as bad as the sea foam green they put on the aveo but it is still ugly

 

it kinda looks like its already a paint job that has faded... makes the car look really old

Yeah its just like any new chevys paint. The color just has no depth to it. Its just really blah!

 

Reminds me of the color that dodge neons came in a long time ago. Then, after a few years, the paint would start peeling and you would see these faded purple neons with gray patches all over. What a horrible color. I wouldn't be suprised if it sold well to young females. Its practically a mix between violet and pink. What teenage girl wouldn't like that? lol
