Ok I have had the hurst shifter in my car for about 5 months now. You can put the car in any gear and shake the shifter side to side about 3/4 - 1" of play. IT is soo sloppy it is hard to figure out where you are at sometimes. Does anyone else have this issue?? Or do i need to adjust something??

Rip it out and check how tight all the bolts are...My friend had a problem with the whole shifter just twisting on him...turned out he didn't tighten one bolt (forgot what it was called)
