Finally Painted my Wheels

So after much debating and changing my mind about 1000 times I finally went through with it and had my stock rims painted.

The face is done in Brilliant Black Crystal Pearl, it is a Chrysler/Dodge color and I love it, looks like black from a distance, but has a ton of metallic that pops out when you are any closer than about 8 feet away.

I also had them do the bowties on the center caps in Sunburst Orange to match the car.

On to the pics

Yeah I know there are some water spots, I just did a quick clean before the pics.

Anyways, lemme know what ya think

Looks nice, I just think it would look better if the centers were painted also.

I work at a dealership, so I got the hookup. I had all for wheels prepped, and painted for $100. I would have done it myself, but for the price how could ya go wrong?

That was one of the things I was back and forth on, but I think leaving them unpainted looks better because it provides more contrast, but it would be easy as hell to paint them later on if I change my mind at some point.

Thanks for the input, keep it comin

Yeah I work at a Dodge dealership, and fell in love with the color after seeing it so many times. You really hafta see it in person in the sunlight to appreciate it. By far the coolest non-candy black I've ever seen

See above, I'm sure there is such a website, but I found mine at work. Go to a dodge, chrysler or jeep dealership and they should have something in the color, it is awesome. They use it on lots of cars.

^Thanks man,

yeah it's crazy, in the right light with a little dust on it the metallic almost makes the color look like the mineral gray.

We have a Grand Cherokee right now in that color that I absolutely love it

Lookin' sexxah! I want to do this with my 'balt and leave the center caps just like that. Except for color-match the bowtie on the cap with my paint.

Do it up man, you'll love them. I think Black looks the best against yellow and orange cars.

I would do them myself, but like I said for the price I was offered I couldn't refuse. It was well worth it. But if they wanted to charge $200 or more I would have just done them myself
