I don't know how many of you saw my other thread where I couldn't make a decision between black wheels or silver wheels (http://cobaltss.net/forums/showthread.php?t=76487), but I finally made a purchase. I found these on craig's list and I was very weary of doing this, but I thought about it for about 2 weeks and I finally met up with the guy, and he was very cool. The whole setup (wheels and tires mounted) came up to $650. He only had about 5 miles on them (his wife made him get rid of them), so I became the lucky one. ;) http://cobaltss.net/gallery/files/1/3/1/4/9/PA050013Large.JPG http://cobaltss.net/gallery/files/1/3/1/4/9/PA050012Large.JPG http://cobaltss.net/gallery/files/1/3/1/4/9/PA050011Large.JPG http://cobaltss.net/gallery/files/1/3/1/4/9/PA050010Large.JPG http://cobaltss.net/gallery/files/1/3/1/4/9/PA050009Large.JPG http://cobaltss.net/gallery/files/1/3/1/4/9/PA050008Large.JPG http://cobaltss.net/gallery/files/1/3/1/4/9/PA050007Large.JPG http://cobaltss.net/gallery/files/1/3/1/4/9/PA050006Large.JPG http://cobaltss.net/gallery/files/1/3/1/4/9/PA050005Large.JPG http://cobaltss.net/gallery/files/1/3/1/4/9/PA050004Large.JPG These are Akuza 18" wheels with Nankang 215/35/18 tires. I always thought these tires were pretty cheap since the price was too, but I was wrong. They perform great and they grip the asphalt like nothing else. 100,000% better than those shitty Continentials. The only downside is the tires. Since they are 215mm wide, the lip on the wheel sticks out pretty far. I plan on putting on some 225/35/18 tires later on so I have a little bit of a thicker sidewall and protection for the lip of the wheel. Before anyone says anything: I will be getting Eibach Sportlines very soon. So there is no need to enlighten me about the fender gap. I actually think I was one of the lucky ones with the gap. It isn't as terrible as some other Cobalts that I have seen, but it still is. I wanna hear comments!! Thanks guys! :cssNET: kkanowitz 10-05-2007, 04:11 PM never seen those before..they look good How the hell did your post get put before mine?!? HAHA  Anyways, Thanks a lot man! I get so many head-turns with these... it's great! CobaltVenomSS 10-05-2007, 04:20 PM LMAO i deserve 5446457654 rep points for that lol 1stbluSS 10-05-2007, 04:26 PM nankangs are good tires. I had them on my thunderbird. I do think you should go with 50 series when you get the money and close that gap. kkanowitz 10-05-2007, 04:30 PM nankangs are good tires. I had them on my thunderbird. I do think you should go with 50 series when you get the money and close that gap. I don't think I would like a 50 series... way too big for me. I like the tuner-thin-sidewall look anyways, so the 35's seemed perfect to me. Plus, that gap will go away with some sportlines. Thanks for the comments, though! ;) LMAO i deserve 5446457654 rep points for that lol haha...done! lol that's some crazy shit. CobaltVenomSS 10-05-2007, 04:30 PM my nickname is speed poster lol kkanowitz 10-05-2007, 04:40 PM my nickname is speed poster lol On the thread listing it even says you started the thread now!! haha lol Maybe a mod can fix it for me...
