EDM Meet HD PICS (NO 56K)
EDM Meet HD PICS (NO 56K)
Well we had a few guys come out which was sweet. Good times had by all. For the lucky few that showed I had the DSLR out again and took some pretty good pics I think. So without further adue...

Thanks, the Caddy is actually my Caprice Classic, and yea, it's higher than stock height with larger than stock tires on it. But it's my work car, and does occasionally go off road, so it needs to be pretty high. That car goes where a lot of 4x4 trucks go, and even a couple of places they don't. V8 rear drive with limited slip ftw!
Great meet guys! Great shots Rob! And i don't know if it's just my browser or not, but i have a few

Pictures look good... Does your brother have a circular polarizer? If he does you should learn how to use it, if he doesn't you should buy one if you plain on shooting lots of cars.
It will help you to reduce ugly reflections in the paint
Its nice to see that you are shooting in Manual Mode, do you bracket expose?
This is the Camera he uses:

Body only(no lens) retails for ~$1500

Funny you say that, because that's the first thing he said to me when he saw the pics. So we've got one on order. We also have a bunch of different filters on order to help with the sky when shooting at sunset. I forget what they're called. Yeah manual mode is the ****, but.... brack expose? If I am I don't know it. What is that? lol
I'm stock and I'm pretty sure that the other cobalt is stock height too. The G5 is lowered though.

Bracket Exposure... Taking the same photo 3 times, One over exposed, one under exposed, and one with proper exposure. This is a method you can use to ensure that you get the correct exposure. Your brother might be able to explain to you what it is a little easier
