CANADIAN Buyers Heeeeelp Me

Hello fellow Canucks,

I'm trying to buy exhaust parts and stuff online but everyone only wants to ship me UPS... now once i bought something from ebay, paid shipping, and when those bastards rang my door bell they charged me their own 50$ fee for being *******...on a 100$ item. WTF is this nonsense. So now I dont know how to get my exhaust and manifolds etc.

What did you guys do and did u have to pay extra brokerage fees? Please help!

Who woulda thought that USPS would have better service in Canada than UPS...

USPS does handle their packages with a lot more care than UPS and FedEx do though.

Have them ship it expedited air mail, you won't have to pay any brokerage that way regardless of the courier.

Can you insist on it? I recommend USPS too and always use them when shipping to Canada.

Maybe the box is too big for the USPS to take.

thats what everyone is saying... but other exhaust system are allowed... i really dont care for the box lol, put it in one they will take for all i care!

i emailed all the vendors who have the corsa and they said no. CED told me they could ship the 2.4l intake manifold vis USPS but they said i might have to pay customs...can someone explain me this? the way i see it:

USPS - pay customs if they check your box
UPS - pay brokerage fees, no customs

and if u choose airmail u dont pay anything except for jet fuel lol
