P1128???

well i was driving in the rain and i got a CEL went to advanced auto and got it scanned but not cleared...said it was an p1128 man. controlled fuel air metering....WTF is that? The guy tried telling me it was because of my airbox mod and said it means its lean...so shouldnt it have been a p0171? help me out here.

Yeah, if you were lean it would have been a p0171. I just cleared that one off my computer.

yeah there scanner was fucked up it wouldnt show you anything until it printed it and wouldnt let you clear it

Make sure there are no leaks in the intake after the MAF sensor.

I highly doubt an airbox mod would make you run lean though..

and I really doubt an air leak after the MAF would make you run lean...that would make you rich..right?

If the leak is after the MAF the PCM will not count the additional air and not compensate for it thus leading to a lean condition.

if anything the breather hose may be loose in a bit i'm gonna go cruise around so before i leave i will look at it
