also it says that you may receive one that comes with an oiled filter or a dry filter and you have no choice of which one to receive...thumbsdown

$160 shipped for an AEM CAI when it mormally sells for $245 is a steal. I didn't want red or blue, if anything I would paint it to match my orange car. I don't really care if it is oiled or dry, if you don't over oil the filter there is nothing to worry about. So I ordered one, there's 1 left AFAIK. Beats the $90 knockoff ebay CAI.

I think they are selling off the 2.2 intakes (that is AEM the company selling it) and re designing to work with the SAI

Wow, really? Any source for that information? I'm running the GMPP now and I have as small breather filter hooked up to the SAI line, I hate how it looks.

The item description basically states they're being sold soo cheap because it is discontinued. There's no reason to discontinue it unless they're releasing a new version and it would be dumb to not make the new version SAI compatible. So all signs point to a revision. Luckily I don't have to deal with the SAI crap.
