S.O.M. SS/SC Dyno w/ K&N Typhoon

Well lets say I as well as my friend with his 05 RSX type s where very happy with our results. He pulled a very good dyno pull of 215 HP and he has only intake and exhaust done, think he is the highest HP at wheels on clubrsx on an 05 NA. TQ came to 155... now on to the SS/SC let the sheet do the speaking!

Are ya throwing any codes with that intake?

Gotta get some track times w/ the mods and see how well they work.

i was worried about mustang dyno's cause i didn't think they were all that accurate since most are running on dyno jets. good numbers. i have a mustang dyno right up the road, i juat may og ahead and go for a few pulls...

well they did do a simulated 1/4 run on the dyno, was pretty cool... they pulled a 13.72 @ 99.89 mph, and it is like a 1/4 mile run with drags on and great conditions, cause on dyno you get no spin of anything to really mess up launch

Awesome numbers man, 230WHP with just an intake is very impressive. The "simulated 1/4 mile" dyno feature is pretty cool too, those numbers sound about right if you had optimal conditions and drag radials. With those kinds of numbers that thing must really pull from a roll

As for the RSX-S, he pulled some nice HP numbers too. Pulling 215WHP with just an intake and exhaust, considering stock Flywheel HP is 210, is pretty damn good. The torque is just pathetic though, only 155ft/lbs peak?? The SS S/C practically makes that much off idle

yes is does pull like a raped ape and my buddy MikeD RSX may not have the TQ there but it still is almost as quick as my SS/SC from a roll its close until i full boost, thanks for posting your dyno graph in this thread MikeD, sucks we dont gain any power with close to a grand left to go in RPMS

Yeah sounds good to me because everyone on CRSX wants me to run the 1/4 mile, because i am putting down some really good numbers for the mods that I have.
