LSJ shift light cought on tape!!
Well I was out tuning my timing tables.....and my shift light was coming on. I thought i would capture this for the disbelievers. Soooo as some of us already know....we have a shift light...now we need to find out how to control it. Sorry for the poor quality video....it/'s hard to drive and film.

is there any way you can get it to come on normally? ie redline a gear while driveing? ( not that id do it just seeing if theres a way to get it to come on )
I know ....i think I'm going to up the boost a little.....I'm at 10 psi now but would like to see between 12-15 psi. Also My meth was turned off and I'm at 2200ft at 80*. I want to get a good tune before I mess with meth and boost again. I also hit a hill at a 100.
NE ways......I don't have any excusesd for being slow besided...being slow.

The phase 5 Cobalts with a 2.2 are running at 9,350rpms. I too will be set for a top 9,300ish rpm.
It comes on for you to shift for better fuel economy. I personally take it close to the red area then shift when it comes on.
99% of the time I do not pay attention to it. I just shift around 3-5 range normal driving.
if it sees you are not at WOT it will come on in early RPM then towards the red zone RPM
