Good Times on the ole digital Track
Good Times on the ole digital Track
Well, like I have been posting, I got some pretty decent times out of the GT1 G-timer.
Since yesterday"
1.) 2.27 60'
6.07 0-60
9.65 1/8
14.50 1/4
2.) 2.50 60'
6.15 0-60
9.78 1/8
14.68 1/4
3.) 2.67 60'
6.55 0-60
9.84 1/8
14.89 1/4
Those are all under 65 degrees and very low humidity (thanks to the high pressure system)
Thing seems to be pretty accurate...since that's most of the times people have experienced at real tracks!
I'm very proud..

They seem a little slow but it is better to be under confident than over confident. Its a good starting point for ya until you can make it to a track. I think my best stock track time was 14.3 at 2400ft above sea level. Practice makes perfect and that seems like a great way to prepare for the track, but I wouldn't live by those numbers tho.
Well, where I am located and under my circumastances...I pretty much have to live by those... The nearest track is and hour and a half away....and I ran my best at a 10.13 on a fairly cool day, but high humidity....just a very very bad track...has not been sesurfaced in almost 30 years. But it's still fun. And yes those are a little slow, but not too bad....beats 15's lol

moved to general section. just because you have a g-timer doesn't mean you're at the track. would have been closer if you posted this in the war stories section since you are doing it in the streets and not at the track.
Yeah lol, i realize that...but just didn't get the difference between the two threads...
Drag Racing
War stories...
maybe should be:
Drag Strip
War stories...just me..
Lol, I guess so...sorry guys..

10.13 in the 1/8? im going high 8's out at cville!
+My '00 LS1 Auto Trans Am w/ a lid and cat-back only ran a 8.97..and that was at the end of November last year....the strip sucks, it's mainly a big tailgating party, and fast fast homebuilt's.
Funny..

I think it's more accurate than people give credit for...what does 14.5-14.8 not sound right? That's the most I've seen out of stockers. That's mostly what I think I would run at an actual track.
