Have you guys seen the new article in Motortrend it says the SS did 0-60 in 6 sec and 14.5 in the 1/4 mile ill try to scan the article later.

You have to have the image saved somewhere on the net first, it will not work directly from your computer, if you have a cardomain site upload the pic there first, then bring the image up on your screen and "right click it" scroll down to properties and a "general properties box will come up, see the URL address highlight it then "rightclick" and copy...

Now go back to posting a message on Cobaltss.net....

See the little image button on the post message menu, right between the "bullet text and the "hyper link " and under the font size box. Click it it will take you to an image box. right click the box and "paste " the URL of the pic.

If you dont have a cardomain or anywhere else to upload the pic then send it to me and i'll do it

This is actually a positive review, of a chevy??? i'm beside myself. this never happens.

I'm impressed at the numbers too, show potential.

2800lbs, something fishy about that number though, the ion redline comes in at 2930lbs

 

I new I wanted a black SS B 4 i saw these pics, but know OMG I NEED ONE.

 

That's so cool...the numbers are even better than I've read before.....I read 121ft 60-0 braking; 14.8 1/4 @96; 0-60 6.4 sec. and .87G's on the skidpad. the motor trend article showed better numbers for everything! This car shows so much promise..damn i'm excited...but now everyone else knows about them!! I'm still very iffy about that wing, though....

but seriously, those numbers are crazy impressive! I never expected to see handling/braking numbers anywhere near that.

 

It's not faster than a WRX, it only stops faster from 60-0. a WRX runs low 14's
(14.2 @98.43) and an STi (13.23 @ 102)

...But with a little work we could keep up to a WRX in the 1/4 , 0-60 it will own a cobalt you're lookin at 4.9 compared to 6.0 DAMN AWD.

 

Mine'll be completely debadged. That way, no issues.

As for the numbers...all I have to say is: w00t!

About time Chevy gets good reviews.

 

i picked this issue up during lunch and got to reading it...

look on the first pic (if u can see) and read the last full paragraph before the end of the page...

it mentions the Quaife LSD as being equipped on the one they were test driving because it came with the performance package!!

and after reading this i looked at the picture of the interior and noticed that those seats do look like the rearcos!

i guess that answers that question!
