Exhaust

I am thinking about either buying the Corsa or the GMPP exhaust, but i dunno which. Which one sounds deeper, and what is the power gain difference? To me the GM sounds deeper than the corsa, but i've only heard internet clips.

GMPP exhaust produces less power but I'm not sure of its sound versus the Corsa's. Corsa technically should be louder because its 2.5", I am correct? And I know for a fact that GMPP is 2.25".

If you don't care about warranty I HIGHLY suggest you get in the group buy for the Megan Catback. Its a 2.5" and sounds realllllly good. AND is only $330.

just go to youtube and look up the exhaust brand(example: corsa cobalt) and you should be able to find most if not all of them. A lot of people put up clips of their exhausts. And I agree the others. Corsa is def. going to be louder, but should probably produce a little more power. My personal preference is the gmp. Mainly because of the sound level. I drove an accord with a pretty loud exhaust for 5 years, and I definitely don't want anything that loud ever again. I'm hopefully going to be getting the gmp exhaust pretty soon. So it's all about what you prefer, power over sound or vice versa. I honestly don't think the gains in power should be THAT different, but then again I could be wrong.

Nope, catback hp's are very minimal like the GMPP catback has been proven on average to give about 1.2hp which is very small and anything better than that wouldn't be like 5hp or more.

bulletssmoke what do you drive ?
And if the 2.4 exhaust is anything like the 2.2 then it'll give you a lot more than 1.2HP to the wheels.

I saw proof on here somewhere the other day that the GMPP intake gives more hp than the catback. I can't remember exactly where but I know some people can back me up on this because its on here somewhere. And I think it said like 1.2hp for the catback.

I read one of the moderators dyno'd before and after the GMPP catback and they yielded a 12 hp gain, not 1.2 hp..

I think that 12 hp gain sounds more like it would be on an ss s/c rather than our n/a engines.

Only big benifit is the Corsa is 2.5" diameter and the GMPP is only 2.25" diameter pipe... Both sound about the same.
