b/c cold weather = snow. Snow= salt on roads. Salt on roads= salt on wheels. Salt on wheels= bye bye wheel finish, b/c salt can eat through paint/clearcoat, which is why we gotta wax our cars up good for winter.

Also, cold weather brings potholes. Potholes= bye bye wheel. I would know, as I just recently had to replace one of my 19"s.........not fun.

DAMN, that does suck! What happened?

My 19" was $380 to replace, + the cost for mounting and balancing and shipping, so it ended up being like $460 for that dilema

When I drove over the nail and had to replace the tire before that, it was $136 for the tire, + shipping, so like $156.

So all in all, since i've had my 19"s on, i've had to replace like $616 worth of crap, lol.

Damn that is cheap. I think it was like $40 just for one for me.

I just need to make friends with Axis so I can get the wheels for cheap when needed, lol.

I did that back when I had my '88 RX-7 convertible. I had 17"s with a 45 profile tire, and it bent the one wheel, but not badly enough that I had to replace it. You could barely even tell it was bent.

ya its amazing that you can do something really stupid and you would expect some damage but then there's something so tiny and you wouldn't expect any damage from it but it does the most out of everything
