hey whats up in have a k&n cai on my 2006 ss/sc i was wondering when i clean the filter shoould i oil the filter or let it dry and leave it alone

 

Oil it, that what collects the dirt.(k&m makes a kit that comes with cleaner and oil, good for about 3-4 uses)
When you clean it filter will turn white in color, oil is what makes it purple in color.
Just dont over oil it because the oil will get all over your MAF sensor.

after you oil it let it sit for a hour or so, so oil absorbs in filter and you should be ok
