How fast have you had your cobalt?

I was able to get up to 155 the other night, and I have to admit I was quite impressed with the ride quality and how it was handling at that speed.

You got 158?? My brother has an ls and said his shuts off at 105. We discussed how fast I got my SS/SC and I told him 110 was the highest I got it (really can't afford a 150 speeding ticket). I thought for sure the SS would have a cutoff point too without any kind of chip or anything, does anybody know if a stock SS has a cutoff.

i was going to say 155 but im guessing it was 158... the thing wouldnt go any faster so im betting i hit the fuel cuttof... i thought the 800lb in passengers was the problem not an actual cutoff

147 on an open road in S. Carolina. The ride quality is very surprising in the ss/sc.

yes, you do at 158, have someone check HPT, plus your car is drag limited due to wind resistance.
