Ran a 14.6 at 98 mph. All I have done is a K&N cold air intake. Is this slow, or fast? Not too sure. But here is the link for the video, My buddy is also on there with his Yellow EVO VIII.

a little on the slow side. low 14's would be more like it. at least you arent in the 15's like some guys

 

it's kinda slow actually. not sure how island is, i don't think it's the best track. but a good driver in a ss/sc will get low 14's. many people run the same time as you, so don't feel bad. just need to practice more.

 

He has no mods other than a K&N CAI......I'd say that is pretty good.

If I got my 60' times down a little it would be a faster time, the 14.6 I have a R/T of .287, my 60' times are always at like 2.3, I just have too much wheel spin. I gotta perfect my launches but I don't go to the track enough.

nothing wrong with that at all man.

some people just look at the "fastest" time, and think if your not doing that, your slow.
In truth theres ALOT more stock ss/scs in the 15s than would like to admit it.

 

very true.. with my mods i ran a 14.5 becaus ei still need to learn how to launch without slipping the clutch and wheel hop.. by the way anomalous your video how to avoid slippage kicks ass..cant wait to try out what i learned from it. dont mean to get off topic, but yes alot of people out there just dont admit their times ...i think its a great time..i ran a 14.5 and look at my mods
