For you PC lovers
Hey guys now don't get me wrong, i love linux and mac....but a buddy showed me this clip and I thought it was funny even though I like mac's (will have a new mac mini soon) and pc's with linux.....so enjoy pc lovers and i'm sure us mac guys will find humor in this video after all the commercials on tv trying to make fun of windows.....enjoy!

haha no problem guys i just think its funny about how everyone gets their feathers ruffled about which one is better.....Mac's are good for multimedia things.....Windows is all about games....so whichever one fits you the best is your choice

When my g/f first started using dreamweaver on a mac she made most of the same complaints as that guy. When I showed her the video she lol'd because its all true.

what issues does the mac have? haha, this is going to turn into a 30 page war, i have a feeling
but the mac commercials are at least somewhat true. this video was total nonsense, and the only people that will find it funny are the ones that don't use macs, because none of it actually happens
none of it's true. it's just a different system, that works differently. if you don't know how to use it, of course you're going to have problems. but once you learn how to use it, you see how much better it is for certain things. like editing, working with video, music, pictures, etc.

i'm not a nutswinger. at work i use my mac. at home i use a pc. so as you can see, for my personal computer i prefer a pc. it depends what i'm using it for.
but i can tell you firsthand that everything that guy said in the video was bs.

youve used 1 mac.
Ive built my own PCs for about 8 years now, and never had a single problem.
does that mean i can assume everything in the mac commercial is BS too?

1) mac won't shut down - you don't have to shut down a mac. ever.
2) programs freeze - you can "force quite" which no matter what is happening will stop the program
3) files do not disapear. they will only disapear permanently if you delete them, and then go into the trash bin and empty it.
4) freeze for no reason - I can burn a dvd, import footage, surf the net, download music, and edit at the same time. it put zero extra burden on the computer like on a pc. i can open every single program, and the computer won't run a hair slower. never once had a mac freeze for no reason.
5) drag and drop - yes you can drag and drop. take songs off a cd, you totally drag them off and put them in a folder. want to add new stuff? drag them to the right folder and they're there. install? what's that

actually, i own one of both, and there are things like i like about windoze and things i like about macintrash

at the same time, for my home computer, i own AND PREFER a pc, and would never use a mac. i would not consider myslef a mac nutswinger
but it's like how people here get upset when someone calls the cobalt a cavalier. the people that know about a cobalt know it's an ignorant statement. alls i said was most of what that guy said was bs, and it is. that doesn't make me a nuttswinger though

I like my PC, I don't like Microsoft (well, at least since I found out that they donate money to planned parenthood), I have used a mac before, but I like both my buttons.
