A guy at work says his 2.8 scion stock will outrun my car. I didnt know they have 2.8L now.

Do you think i will murder him or barely beat him.

I never heard of a 2.8L either, but you will definatly murder a stock Scion or a modded one with the mods that you have.

Regardless, unless they just came out with a turbo Scion, which they didn't, you will win. A stock SC will win. Prolly even if they had a turbo too. LOL

 

Im guessing im going to get surprised because he said he figures my 2.0 with a SC is equal to his 2.8. lol i just dont know about a 2.8 scion so i was wondering

 

Just checked..still a 161 hp 2.4L. He yanking your chain. smoke him in 4th.

 

TC is maybe a challenge for a 2.4, and an occational 2.2 has taken one down.

I don't think you will have any problem with his 2.8l 4cyl

my colorado has a 2.8 and i ran a 16.8 so you should murder him.

 

i work at toyota and the tc's have the 4 cyl camry engine here of the specs on that.

2.4-liter DOHC 16-valve
VVT-i 4-cylinder
158 hp @ 6000 rpm/
161 lb.-ft. @ 4000 rpm

so whoever said they had a 2.8 is a noob. haha kick his ass.

 

if you tape it your gonna need a camera with good zoom

scion run mid 15's to low 16's stock not a problem for a 2.4 or a 2.0. Can be tough for a 2.2, but should still be pretty close. They are pretty quick but not that quick. I've killed some in my auto 2.4(but of course every driver is different and I'm not stock)
