just as a refferance, a frind of mine has an all motor cavalier 2.2l ecotec, runs low 14s. with slicks, launching at 6500rpm, he runs 1.8 60' times. keep in mind he is a 2200lb car, but is around 180hp.

id expect to be around 1.9s.

yeah, i've been looking into a set of slicks too because i might get a little crazy this spring. on a set of 15x7s what size tire do you get for a slick? not sure how to buy slicks.

i'd imagine a 1.8-1.9 60ft is possible.

You can shave off the caliper to get a 15 on. That way you can run a full slick if you wish.

I've personally been able to get 2.0 60's with my stock Pirellis. With a full slick, I can see 1.7's being possible.

I hope to run the hoosier QTP's next season as well on a pair of my HHR winter wheels. I wasn't sure how much better i could get my 60's to as my best (Very inconsistent launches on stock tires) is a 2.08. I'm looking for a lower number and mostly a more consistent number.
