I was searching websites and seen this on RacingSolutions.com for cobalt a light weight crank pulley i was just wondering if anyone in here has one and did it help them?
if you're going to pull the internals and have them gram balanced with the crank pulley and flywheel. go for it. find the lightest you can. the maxima camp tried this. and found that it ate the front seal, caused oil leaks, and eventually lead to failed crank bearings.
changed harmonics. i myself has always been against it. if someone wants to try it. go for it. just remember i warned ya

Area47 is right on, I've been told straight from a GM performance division engineer that the lightweight flywheel was a bad idea due to excessive belt oscillation, and the lightweight crank pulley is pretty much doing the same thing in a different spot.
The larger inertia from stock flywheels and crank pulley's will cause smoother idling and smoother rpm transitions and also, it will allow the car to actually last as long as the dealer says it should. I would only change those things if you are a hardcore racer who likes to autoX and can afford to rebuild stuff.
