Wheels Calgary

Has anybody had any luck at dealerships in Calgary to get there wheels warrantied from the paint/coating just chipping/flaking. I know only certain dealerships will warranty the wheels from reading other forums and just wondering if there was a good one in calgary

I tried three dealerships and got the same old song and dance about how it was from stone chips and that water gets in there from rain and freezes causing the rims to chip. I told all of them that if it is that easy to chip then the pain was crap and that gm really needs to start honoring there useless warranty. (CMP, ****, Jack Carter dealers i went to)

Ah, the wonderful world of GM (un) warranty. Any chance they get, they will avoid honoring it. Try calling the GM appeal line. You're almost guaranteed that they will take the side of the stealership.

Thank god mine isnt the only one! I saw something on my wheel when i was at the car wash so i sprayed it a bit and nothing really happened so i knelt down and ran my finger over it and all this paint flaked off, i nearly freaked at how shitty that paint was.

Yeah im looking for some aftermarket rims now, pieces of **** oem crap haha. Great to hear dealerships won't honor to get them repainted

There's a place here in St. John's NL that will strip and chipped rims. GM won't honor it like you say but this place does for some odd reason. I don't know much details about if right off hand but I will over the winter when I get mine fixed. Perhaps there's a place in Calgary that does the same. Something to look into any ways.
