Why 5 speed and Sweden? Is it a volvo gearbox?

Volvo = Ford Motor Company

Saab = General Motors

If you've ever taken an LSJ apart, you will see SAAB labled on MANY parts

Oh i see, the saab 9-3 2.0T has 5MT also. So the new SS is like a 9-3 with lower price and weight but higher power? great. Now they need to make a convertible version.

No, the TC is like a front wheel drive solstice gxp coupe without independent rear suspension. :)
