Quick question about converter code.

Ok so I am throwin a CEL for my cat and I have had the vibrant exhaust on it now for quite a few months with no problem but once I installed the stage 2 a CEL came on and its comin from the cat. I dont know exactly what code it is because the dealership did it but the tech said somethin about how it wasnt getting enough backpressure. Well he also said that the cat has a 100 mile break in. I drove it for 3 days no problem then I threw another code. So my question is. If I have him clear the code again will it come back? And can the dealership turn the converter code off for good? Because I have no one in my area with hpt and I hate havin a CEL. So is there anyway the dealer can turn the code off? If not what can I do to turn it off. I appreciate any help thank you.

well, first off you don't want backpressure on a supercharged car. ignor the tech.

what was the code? when you put a new cat you're supposed to break it in for about 500 miles, which means no hard driving.

you can always get yourself a code reading, mine was like 100 and will tell you what the code is and you can delete them yourself.

Wow thats great news. I was driving the car after I got the stage 2 installed and the cat blew its guts all over the place. So I needed a new cat. I got the new one installed and it blew another cel. I agree that our cars dont need backpressure thats why I was so lost. I need to find out what code it is but I know that is has something to do with the cat. And this code never came on before I got the stage 2. So does that help yall in knowin what code? Is it increased airflow? Thanks again for all your help

anyone??
