ok well this thread will kinda let the cat outta the bag on what ive been up too with my balt. but anyhow ive been working with a guy on making full 100% carbon fiber fenders. he gave me 2 options. #1 was to get a set of fiberglass fenders and he could overlay them or #2 make a mold etc. and make em true 100% carbon fiber. i was gonna go with option #1 till he said do you have any friends that may have in interest in this idea. i said ya sure im on a forum with tons of other cobalt enthusiasts. so here we go. this is just a gaining interest thread. add ur name to the list below. i will then take the list to the guy that makes them and show the interest and them go from there for pricing and what not. pricing will depend on the number of people. he is willing to become a supporting vendor once we get this off the ground if we do. I DO NOT HAVE ANY PIX AT THIS TIME SO DONT ASK. but you can look at a carbon fiber hood and get an idea of the a carbon fiber fender would look like. due to site rules i will not give out his name website etc.

ok i just got off the phone with my guy. he said $400-$500 range per set. shipping would be in the $100 range. and as for the weight he said they are probably gonna be lighter but not a ton lighter....we need a but 10+ to get this off the ground. so please if ur interested and would buy a set of these please add ur name to the list.

this is a neat idea. i will put my name on the list. i will need to see pictures first. I on the other hand dont care if people think its rice. it would only be rice if it were either done very tacky or it were just a vinal overlay. so, count me in.

also not to thred jack, but i would be interested in c/f lip kit. i dont know if he would be interested in doing this. im SURE more people would buy the lip kit than the finders.
