Our cars weigh 3700lbs?

Ever look on the factory spec badge on the inside of your driverside door? It says our cobalt weighs like 3783lbs!!

I thought it was more like 2800lbs?

That's something different, it's not what the car weighs.

That's the most it can weigh including the car. GVW <something like that but with four letters, forgot what it is.

Vehicle weight shouldn't have anything to do with the horsepower as the car is stationary.

My SE-R Weighed in at 2700 lbs. It hydroplaned horribly and sucked in puddles, this car is much better so I would assume it weighs a little more.

36233lbs is lighter did you order the armor plated option?

What did your RL weigh? The one I weighed didn't weigh less than a CSS.

The weight posted on your door, as stated earlier, is your Gross Vehicle Weight Rating, or GVWR. It's the maximum weight of your vehicle fully loaded- full fuel/fluids, passengers, and cargo. My S10's were rated at 4900 lbs gross, but weighed only around 3800-3900. The extra half-ton was their load capacity, and trust me, neither ever weighed close to that!
