Well,I am because I can't afford to get them right now as I'm saving for 17" Wheels and Rims after winter.

i am going to have to endure winter with my summer tires cuz i just bought a house and my money has been going towards house stuff and i cant buy tires right now...we dont usually have much snow so i should be good unless the every 5 year "blizzard" pattern continues

In NC, we don't get much snow. So to buy new tires for 'winter' would be pointless IMO..

good luck don't get the parts that are important, risk your life untill you can get the "good looking" 17's. in my opinion, that's ass backwards. please don't tell me you have the continentals.

I wish i had that luxury. I'm going to get through the winter on the 18's. Tread is low so i may have to go ahead and buy new tires.

why don't you guys that are driving the cobalt all winter get winter wheels? not for nothing, but if you can't afford to pay for maintenance/necesary things then you should have got a different car. i don't know how you do it. my summer tires lose traction at 70mph when it's DRY out in the cold. i can't even imagine attempting to drive in the snow with them.

i would never drive in snow without winter tires--tried that for one week the first year I had it, and will never do it again. My toyos did okay, but the Pirellis were NOT made for rain or snow...holy heck. I slid everywhere when I had the Pirellis on. I then put some Yokohama IceGuards on it and it gets traction even on ice. I put my summer toyos on a month too early and had to run them in a snowstorm and they did okay too. Not as good as winter tires, but much better than stock.

were i am we get little snow, and when we have snow, the car stays parked. some all seasons would do me just fine. i have a set of 16" winter tires at my disposal, however not being able to get any 16" 5x110 wheels for less than $250 each (all i can find is hhr alloys), some pirelli pzero nero m+s will have to do.
