almost done my headlights.

well after almost 3 weeks of waiting i got my headlights painted only not to have enough money to get the sealant so they are naked without the lens at the moment anyways here's a few pics.

They look nice... i remember doing mine. Make sure to be careful when putting the lenses back on if they still have sealant, it only takes one touch to scuff em.

You did a good job. I'm still debating on keeping a little chrome around the curved part of the reflectors.

I did that to mine, left the chrome around the reflectors, looks classy, lol

ya just so you all know i called in a favor to a buddy of mine in our body shop so he's the one who painted them i did all the prep work such as getting them apart, sanding and masking everything off. and i have the inside's clearcoated and the backings are just flat black.

some Harley guy showed me. Where do you get clear orange ones? never seen this.

But I have heard you could buy silver ones don't know where though.

so my headlights are 100% completed and just have to wait until after work today and then they will be in the car. they've been out for almost a month now.

so today after work i installed my new color matched headlights and since we all love pictures around here i've decided to put up a bunch of pics i have taken along the multiple stages of this project.
